C&I Portfolio PV Due Diligence Services

Scope: Kambuku Consulting has undertaken a number of due diligence assessments of portfolios of already constructed PV only and PV battery hybrid C&I (commercial and industrial) projects located around South Africa for potential lenders and investors.
The assessments included reviews of the designs, the quality of the equipment installed, quality of the installations and assessments of the levels of compliance with legislation such as NRS097, SANS 10142 and the OSH act. The assessments also included reviews of the quality of the EPC and O&M contracts, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Management Services Agreements (MSA) as well as checks of the technical inputs in the financial models, including benchmarking
of the EPC and O&M costs and checks of the levels of funding available for future plant replacements.
A tabular and colour coded risk assessment system is utilised to enable easy understanding of the risk levels of each aspect of the project.
